  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you create a business process definition (BPD), the Enable
Autotracking check box is selected by default when it should not
be selected because it is a good practice to not use
autotracking.

Local fix

  • You cannot change the default option. However, you can clear
Enable Autotracking when you create or revise a BPD.

Problem summary

  • When you use create a BPD in Process Designer, Enable
Autotracking is selected by default as is documented on the
Process Designer and Process Center tab of the "What's new"
topic

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 is available that changes "Enable
Autotracking" default to "off" by default when creating new BPD
using a wizard.

On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
for JR49573:

 1.      Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
 2.      Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49573, and click Continue.

When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.
