Error description

  • When a process is set to have a null due date (via JS), a
    Javascript exception occurs on client side when querying
    with Process Inspector.  The null due date causes the page to
    not render and display nothing due to the exception on browser
    side.
    
    
    Also, after applying JR51636 various regression may be found
    with Process Inspector including the JR50241 issue coming back
    on certain browsers.

    When you query for process instances using Process Inspector
    in the Process Admin Console, if the due date for one of the
    instances is not set you see a blank page. By default, the due
    date is set.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.2 that checks whether
    due date is set. If it is not set, the string that represents
    the date is set to  ¢â‚¬ “Date not specified ¢â‚¬  ½. Therefore,
    query for  process instances in Process Inspector and the due
    date of a process instance is not set, you will see  ¢â‚¬ “Date
    specified ¢â‚¬  ½ next to the word  ¢â‚¬ “due ¢â‚¬  ½ where the
    would otherwise be displayed.

    for JR49363:
    1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49393, and click Continue.
