Error description

  • You see a NullPointerException error in the SystemOut.log file
when you use Performance Data Warehouse with SQL Server and
integrated security. This exception does not affect product
functions. It is only a side effect of integrated security not
passing a specific database user and password (because it uses
the current Windows user and password).

    PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

    IBM BPM Standard
    IBM BPM Express

Problem summary

  • This issue occurs because no database user name or password was
provided to Performance Data Warehouse when you used integrated
    security with SQL Server.

A fix that suppresses the logging of these exception messages
will be incorporated into a later release.
