Error description

  • In Process Designer, the customer displays a Service level
    Agreement The right hand part of the Service Level Agreement
    dispay shows the "Condition" definitions.
    For the "Actvities:" condition, if the customer clicks on
    "select activities"  - no list of activiites are displayed but
    should be
    
    If the customer clones the PA, the new version of the PA shows
    the list of actvities correctly as expected.
    
    Customer advises this has affected more than one PA, but does
    not know what circumstances lead to this issue.

Problem summary

  • "Add an activity" action in SLA editor does not display
    activities.
    
    AFFECTED EDITIONS:
    IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) 7.5.1 Advanced, Standard and
    Express.
    
    PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
    Affects users utilizing BPDs with subprocess and SLAs. "Add an
    activity" action in SLA editor does not display activities, due
    to NullPointerException in the SLA editor when some BPD in the
    project have subprocesses.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM 7.5.1.1 is available that enables SLA editor
    for sub processes. Activities from subprocess will be
    grouped by top level process.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR49026:
    
        1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49026, and click Continue.
    
    When downloading fix packages, ensure that you also download the
    readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional
    installation instructions and information about the fix.
