APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer has snapshots with long names.
  From the Process Admin Console / Installed Apps / Environment
  Vars when Sync Setting is selected for the application,
  the "Sync Setting - Select Snapshot to Sync From" window is
  displayed.
  When the drop down list is used to select a snapshot, the full
  snapshot name is not displayed making selection impossible.
  
  This issue only occurs with IE 8 and customer does not want to
  move from this version.
  
  It works OK with IE 10 and Chrome
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• There is a styling issue that prevents the name to be displayed
  correctly in either Internet Explorer 7 or 8.
  
  
  PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
  The Process Admin Console has the capability to sync settings
  from one snapshot to another. This is done on the Installed
  Apps panel using the "Sync Settings" action for a selected
  snapshot. To accomplish the sync, the snapshot to copy data
  from needs to be selected using a drop-down box. When using
  Internet Explorer 7 or 8, long snapshot names are displayed
  truncated and. This may prevent the correct identification of
  the snapshots.
  

Problem conclusion

• When using long snapshot names, the dialog is now resized
  dynamically to make the drop-down box large enough to display
  the complete name.

  Fix is also targetted for inclusion in next fixpack for
  BPM V7.5.1, BPM 8.0.1
