APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The customer is experiencing problems when loading the Coach on
the iPad. They tried the replicate scenario with 2 different
iPads (they both had different OS and specs) and both
experienced the issue.
Additionally, there were slight differences in the results. The
iOS 7 shows the keyboard is shaking violently back and forth,
whereas the iOS 6 shows the keyboard as non-responsive.
It has been reported the customer is using the Safari browser.

Problem summary

  • The software keyboard on an iPad is shown and then hidden for
each Text control within a Table when the coach is first
displayed.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM 8.0.1.1 that modifies the Text
control to prevent the software keyboard from being displayed.

On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
for superseding
APAR JR48656:

    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48656, and click Continue.

A fix is also available for IBM BPM 8.0.1.2. On Fix Central,
search for superseding APAR JR48893, and follow instructions
above.

search for superseding APAR JR49642, and follow instructions
above.
