    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When you use upgrade_6x command to      *
    *                      migrate from Teamworks V6.2 and you     *
    *                      migrate an LSW_EM_TASK, you receive a   *
    *                      null pointer exception error if the     *
    *                      task argument is longer than 1024       *
    *                      characters. The event manager task      *
    *                      argument is saved in TASK_ARGUMENTS     *
    *                      instead of TASK_ARGUMENTS_STR in        *
    *                      table LSW_EM_TASK.                      *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    When you migrate an LSW_EM_TASK, you receive a null pointer
    exception error if the task argument is longer than 1024
    characters.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.0.1.1 is available that ensures the
    migration code reads the argument from ASK_ARGUMENTS column if
    TASK_ARGUMENTS_STR is null.
