  • Javascript runtime error occurs with Coach that has Select
control and using IE 10.

Problem summary

  • In IE10, cannot retrieve a list of choices for a Select control
via Selection Service configuration option.

IBM Business Process Manager Advanced, Standard, and Express

PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
XMLHttpRequest has changed in IE10, which causes a Javascript
error when an Ajax service is called. For instance, a Select
control cannot retrieve a list of choices via its Selection
Service configuration option successfully. This affects Heritage
Coach users who want to call Ajax services from Coaches in IE10.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available that modifies the
/process-server.teamworks.war/src/main/webapp/script/coach_desig
ner.js file.

Fix for 8.5.0.0 is on Fix Central
(http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR48227:

1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
platform, and click Continue.
2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48227, and click Continue.

Fix for 8.5.0.1 is also available on Fix Central, however, it
has been delivered with superseding cumulative fix for JR49272.
To obtain the fix for 8.5.0.1, follow the same instructions
above, substituting JR49272 for JR48227.
