Code added in the JR46347 interim fix did not take into
account that a function to unsubscribe collaboration channels
could be called in a scenario where collaboration would not be
active, resulting in an attempt to access a null object (named
"batch") when collaboration is not active.

Problem conclusion

  • Adding a check to ensure that collaboration is active prior to
attempting to unsubscribe collaboration channels resolves the
    issue.
