Error description

  • Clicking quickly on a link to create a new instance of a process
    from the launchable process list, results in two instances
    displaying within the same window.
    When user finishes the first and opens the second task, the user
    will see "The service has finished" message for the first
    finished task.
    This occurs until user logs out.

    If an exposed service is set to launch for "last user in
    lane", clicking quickly on a link to create a new instance of
    an exposed service from the launchable process list in Process
    Portal can result in multiple instances being displayed within
    the same iFrame window.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM Business Process Manager V8.0.1.0 and
     V8.0.1.2 that prevents multiple instances from being displayed
    within a single iFrame.
    
    For V8.0.1.0, on Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR47920:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR47920, and click Continue.
    
    For V8.0.1.2, on Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR48145
    (this fix contains the fix for JR47920):
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48145, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
