Error description

  • Under some circumstances a task that is assigned to a
Participant Lane with a User Group assigned cannot be viewed
with the View Instance function in Process Portal. Further the
View Process Diagram functionality is not available. Users get
the following error message in the Portal: "WARNING: You are
not authorized to perform this action."
The server logs contan the following error:
"com.ibm.bpm.wle.api.NotAuthorizedActionException: CWTBG0549E:
You are not authorized to perform the 'getdetails' action."

Problem summary

  • Under some circumstances a task that is assigned to a
Participant Lane with a User Group assigned cannot be viewed
with the View Instance function in Process Portal.

PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Further the View Process Diagram functionality is not available.
Users get the following error message in the Portal:
"WARNING: You are not authorized to perform this action."

The server logs contain the following error:
"com.ibm.bpm.wle.api.NotAuthorizedActionException: CWTBG0549E:
You are not authorized to perform the 'getdetails' action."

Problem conclusion

  • The authorization code was fixed to lookup the group information
correctly.
