Error description

• Add support for updating a document with versioning disabled in
  a Document List coach view
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• You cannot update documents with new content by using the
  document list coach view that is attached to an external ECM
  server where the object type is a document that has versioning
  disabled because the update operation will try to check out the
  document and will be unsuccessful.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix for IBM BPM V8 is available that handles content that is
  provided to documents (object types) that have versioning
  disabled. Although a new version is not created, the content is
  still updated.
  .
  If the ECM server supports users changing content anytime, the
  content of the document is overwritten with the updated content
  without doing a checkout. If the ECM server supports a private
  working copy only (pwconly) and versioning is disabled, a
  warning message will indicate that the content of the document
  will not be updated.

  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR47798. After you select the product group, product,
  installed version, and platform, click Continue and then select
  APAR or SPR, enter JR47798, and click Continue. When downloading
  fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for
  each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation
  instructions and information about the fix.
