    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In Process Portal, if a user name is *
    * strictly numeric (for example, *

    * supposed to be displayed). *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The BPM REST API implementation incorrectly assumed that
    numeric user names are internal identifiers (i. e.
    numeric identifiers generated by the product as a separate key
    for each user). User lookup code attempted to match a numeric
    key against internal IDs first, instead of user names,
    resulting in failure of lookup and display of the default
    avatar image.

Problem conclusion

  • The user lookup code was modified to search by user name
    first, then fall back to search by internal ID, resolving the
    issue.

    been published to Fix Central. Please refer to the separate
    file that is automatically downloaded with the interim fix

    instructions.
