Error description

  • When invoking multiple REST service API simultaneously,

    ****************************************************************
During runtime, when invoking numerous REST Service API calls
simultaneously using the same HTTP session, hung threads may
occur and cause high CPU utilization. The requests are
executed on independent threads which clash when triggered
    from the same client.
The hung thread may be seen in the server logs with the
following class seen in the stack:
    at com.ibm.bpm.rest.impl.service.ServiceRunnerManager.register

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes have been made to properly synchronize the
calls and avoid threads becoming hung. An interim fix is
available on v8.0.1.1. The fix will be integrated into the
    next fix pack.
