  • Description:
Portal allows users to create new activities in a terminated
process instance thru adhoc events. This should be prevented by
the process engine so that no activities can be created
independent of the client  used.

Problem summary

  • Process Portal allows users to create new activities for a
process instance that is in an end state, e.g. terminated or
completed, thru adhoc events.

PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
When creating adhoc events the state of the enclosing process
instance is not taken into account when calculating the allowed
available actions.

Problem conclusion

  • With this interim fix adhoc events that belong to a process
instance can only be created, when the corresponding process
instance is an active state.
