Error description

  • Whenever we change the endpoint of a single WSImport in a SCA
    module
    containing several JAX-WS Imports, policy sets and bindings are
    lost
    for ALL the WSImports in the module
    

Local fix

  • have to reset bindings
    

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When changing the JAX-WS import         *
    *                      endpoint in SCA module view on admin    *
    *                      console, all the policy sets and        *
    *                      bindings are lost.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The update endpoint code incorrectly clears all policy sets
    and bindings.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This fix will store the needed information to keep policy sets
    and bindings values after updating the endpoint for JAX-WS
    import.
    
    Install/Dependency information is available in the readme.txt
    on FixCentral. When the user goes to the download files page
    in FixCentral, the readme will be available with the fix
    package as a separate download.
