APAR status

Error description

• Communications Server for Windows
  ---------------------------------
  After the host terminates a DLUR PU (with DACTLU) and later
  reactivates the PU, printer sessions do not work correctly.
  The LUA printer software is informed of the termination by the
  error LUA_COMPONENT_DISCONNECTED, ending the LUA connection.
  However, when the PU is reactivated and an ACTLU is received
  for the LU, CSWIN responds to the ACTLU with "SLU enabled"
  indicating the LUA printer software is still connected and ready
  to accept print jobs. But, when the host sends a print job,
  CSWIN rejects it with sense code 08010000 indicating that the LU
  is not available.
  

Local fix

• VARY the LU inactive/active on the host.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED: All using printer LUs.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  There was a problem with a previous fix optimizing the handling
  of ACTLU responses after SSCP takeovers (JR46205).
