Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Milliseconds are not preserved when *
    * invoking web services calls. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a date object is used in a web *
    * service call, the milliseconds are *
    *                      set to zero.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When making web services calls on both inbound and outbound
    using the BPM WS integration component, any date object will
    have the millisecond values ignored and the result will be set
    to a default value zero.

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes have been made to introduce a new custom property
    to enable the preservation of the millisecond values. Users
    now have the ability to not have millisecond valude as default
    or can enable it by adding the following property to the
    100Custom.xml, <dateandtime-include-milliseconds
    merge="replace">true</dateandtime-include-milliseconds>.  More
    detailed information will be available in the readme file
    associated with the fix. An interim fix is available on
    v8.0.1.0. The changes will also be available in the next fix
    pack release.
