Error description

  • This fix is to prevent GetTaskGroupsByWorkspaceId from causing
    out of memory when # of taskgroup in a workspace is huge

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce v7 FEP5 and FEP6 users who have large number
    of taskgroups configured in a single workspace.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    When listing the task groups for a workspace in the management
    center, paging is not being respected causing an out of memory
    error when the number of task groups in a workspace is large.
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Impacts environment as outages may be encountered due to
    OutOfmemory condition.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • The web service that the management center is calling to display
     the task groups for a workspace was fixed to properly respect
    the paging parameters being passed in from the client.
