Error description

  • Oracle Connector does not preserve degree of parallelism when
    rebuilding indexes.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Degree of parallelism is maintained when using Oracle EE
stage, but after Migrating to Oracle Connector, Degree
    of Parallelism is not maintained.

Indexes that exist in different schema than associated
table are not found or rebuilt by the Connector.

Degree of Parallelism property in the Oracle Connector
should be grayed out if parent property is not set to
    Parallel.

Problem conclusion

  • As of this fix, the Oracle Connector is maintaining the
degree of parallelism when Connector property Parallel
Clause is set to the new value Preserve Degree of
    Parallelism.
