Error description

  • The data binding code generated for a CICS CHAR Container is
not correct for a complex structure containing an OCCURS clause.

Local fix

  • There is a workaround for users who only need the data
binding classes for the data marshalling and do not require the
Data Object methods such as getDataObject() and setDataObject().

The workaround is to use the RAD J2C tooling wizard accessible
through the product to generate the classes. The generated
    classes will give identical function.

To access the RAD J2C Tooling wizard, from the IBM Integration
    Designer workbench select "File > New > J2C > CICS/IMS Java Data
Binding" to import the COBOL file.
