• 1. Deploy the EAR with double byte characters in the application
  name on a server from admin console
  2. Edit webservice import target point from admin console
  3. Got NullPointerException in SCAModuleHelper.getAppContextId()

  In Admin Console, edit the webservice import target point for
  any deployed ear files with double byte characters in the
  application name will cause Null Pointer Exception.
  The problem is due to an internal WAS routine not handling the
  double byte characters in the application name correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• Resolve the issue to take into account DBCS characters within
  the EAR file.
