Error description
ASNTREP returns SQLCODE -423 when the non-key columns are LOB/CLOB/BLOB and the length of any column value is zero.
Local fix
Problem summary
ASNTREP tried to support the large object data types (BLOB, CLOB, DBCLOB) starting from V97FP1. It did not work only when the differences (identified by ASNTDIFF and recorded in the DIFF table) have the non-key LOB/CLOB/BLOB columns whose value length is zero.
Problem conclusion
The problem has been fixed and will be available in DB2 LUW V9.7 FP8.
