Error description
Job aborted with ORA-01460 when running on IS 9.1. That job was running without any error on IS 8.7 before. When the 9.1 Big Buffer enhancement is disabled. it works well on IS 9.1 as well as IS 8.7. It may cause this abortion.
Local fix
Work Around: Disable the big buffer APIs in V9.1.
Problem summary
Existing job aborted with ORA-01460 when running on IS 9.1. Disabling Big Buffer (new to 9.1) resolved the issue.
Problem conclusion
There were internal data structures for Big Buffer that were not being initialized correctly. Issue was unique to PL/SQL in source context.
Temporary fix
Disable Big Buffer API by adding and setting environment variable CC_DISABLE_BIG_BUFFER_API=TRUE
