Error description

• Concurrent catalog uploads fail because one catalog upload
  thread holds a database connection longer than the firewall
  time-out. This happens for users who have a firewall setup
  between the Commerce server and database. After failing, all
  subsequent catalog uploads fail with the same database
  connection issue until the server is restarted.
  

Local fix

• Use Dataload instead of Catalog Upload.
