Error description
The behaviour of the InventorySync web service is that only published products can be updated. This is implemented in the process of resolving catentry_id from partnumber. There is a requirement from customer that they want to sync inventory for non-published products. Another behaviour of the InventorySync web service is that it will look up the STORECENT table when resolving catentry_id from partnumber. There is a requirement from customer that they don't want to look up that table. Currently , there is no easy customization point for extension to achieve above requirements. This defect is to enhance this. The goal is that customer can specify the custom access profile in the configuration file so that customer can define their own access profile and query template(.tpl) for the GetCatalogentry service which is used in resolving catentry_id by partnumber.

Problem conclusion
Make the access profile used for get catentry_id by partnumber be configurable to enable customer: 1. to specify custom access profile in the configuration file, and 2. define custom query template as desired. With this fix, what customer needs to do is: 1. Define a custom access profile, for example, MyCommany_CatalogEntry_WithoutPublish. 2. Define customer query template file for the custom access profile where the SQL statement are defined. Refer to http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wchelp/v7r0m0/topic/com.ibm.co mmerce.developer.soa.doc/tasks/tsdnewapexistingxpath.htm 3. Define access control for the custom access profile. Only site administrator have access to this new access profile without defining access control policy.
