0 length keywords to Solr search, resulting in parsing errors.

    BUSINESS IMPACT:
No search results or an error page are returned to the user.

    RECOMMENDATION:

Problem conclusion

  • This iFix now corrects the reported issue by handling empty
input search terms properly so as to avoid adding empty search
term into the search request, causing two "+" signs side by side
    in the search expression.
