JR44911: USING NON-ENGLISH LOCALE THAT IS NOT SUPPORTED CAUSES SOME STRINGS FOR MENU ITEMS ON PROCESS PORTAL TO DISPLAY ERRORME

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the locale configured for a user is a locale which is not
  supported
  (translated) in Process Portal, some menu items are rendered
  in English, but for other items, an error message is displayed
  instead of the item defaulting to English.
  

Local fix

• Additionally to the existing non-supported language, e.g.
  Slovenian(Slovenia) [sl-SI], add a supported language, e.g.
  English (United States) [en-US], in the language preference of
  the browser and place it at the top of the language.

  Missing code logic that would revert the language to be
  English for menu items when using a non-supported locale.
  

Problem conclusion

• When a message key is not found for a given language, code was
  added that forces the fallback language to be English.

  Install/Dependency information is available in the readme.txt
  on FixCentral. When the user goes to the download files page
  in FixCentral, the readme will be available with the fix
  package as a separate download.
