Error description

  • When user creates a "WebServiceImport" and set "policy
set/bindings" in IID 7.5.1 or 8.0, and then deployed the module
to WPS; the "plolicy set/bindings" are not reflected in Admin
    Console.

Local fix

  • A work around is available:

To work around the problem, you can edit the XXX.import file
with a text editor and change the policySetName directly.
Simple remove the trailing " default" leaving the name as
    "BPMHTTPBasicAuthentication".

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
There is an incorrect policySet name generated within IID,
so it can not be recognized by runtime; Hence the generated
WebService Import is not recoginzed in AdminConsole.
    The policySet name expected by
    runtime is
    "BPMHTTPBasicAuthentication", but the
    tooling specify the name to
    "BPMHTTPBasicAuthentication default"

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • A work around is available: The user can apply/modify the
policySet in the WAS admin console by navigating as
    follows:
Services --> service client --> select the application -->
select the web service client and apply/modify the policySet
    configuration there.

A fix will be targeted for a future release.
