Error description

  • If the name of a saved search includes non-ASCII or
    punctuation characters, such as '/', then running the saved
    search from Process Portal will not return results.  A page
    with saved search results displays as continually loading and
    does not display any tasks or instances.

    *                      non-ASCII or punctuation characters.    *

    The problem was fixed by including statements to encode the
    saved search name before it is included in a URL.
    A Business Process Manager 8.0.1.0 interim fix is available
    through the JR45386 package that is available from Fix
    Central.  JR45386 has superseded JR44818, so all changes for
    JR44818 are included in the JR45386 package.  Fix application
    instructions are also available when obtaining the interim fix
    from Fix Central.
