Error description

  • In A CCD fan-out setup data loss might occur because SYNCHPOINT
    value in REGISTER table for CCD was updated incorrectly when
    Q Apply was restarted.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Q Apply saved incorrect value of MAX commitseq
    from the CCD when Q Apply is restarted and resulted in the
    wrong initial value in register table.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Correct Q Apply logic so that the correct
    value of MAX commitseq is retrieved.
    .
    A fix for this problem will be available in DB2 LUW V9.7 FP8
