WebSphere Commerce Interim Fix 2321 - Order History details return 'No Information Available'

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Special characters (&,\,",',<,>) are not being handled properly
  when getting the order history details for the WebSphere
  Commerce and Sterling OMS Integration Solution.
  
  There are three specific issues that are being addressed:
  
  Issue 1:
  The special character for catalog entry objectPath and thumbnail
  have not been handled. There can be problems when the JavaScript
  can not handle them.
  Issue 2:
  When there are catalog entry level promotions, there will be a
  promotion link in the history order details page. This link may
  not work.
  Issue 3:
  Need to handle the situation that when Sterling orders
  (instruction) contain some special characters.
  

Local fix

• Ensure that there are no special characters in the catalog entry
  objectPath and thumbnail, or in any descriptive text.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce users on Version 7.0 Feature Pack 5 who use
  the Side by Side integration with Sterling OMS.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  When looking at a customer's order history and selecting order
  details for orders, the order details are not being returned as
  all fields return with the result 'No Information Available'
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  In WebSphere Commerce storefront, business users may not be able
  to view historical order details which are persisted in Sterling
  successfully.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Issue 1:
  The special chars (&,\,",',<,>) for catalog entry objectPath and
  thumbnail are handled.
  
  Issue 2:
  The promotion link in the history order details page is
  corrected.
  
  Issue 3:
  Handled the special chars(&,\,",',<,>) in Sterling
  orders(instruction).
