Error description

  • If duplicate groups are present in LDAP, BPM
    Security throws SQLIntegrityViolation exception and fails to
    finish the group replication process. Errors such as below are
    seen in log.

    Caused by:
    com.lombardisoftware.client.delegate.BusinessDelegateException:
    PreparedStatementCallback; SQL [insert into LSW_USR_GRP_XREF
    (GROUP_ID,GROUP_NAME,DISPLAY_NAME,GROUP_TYPE,DESCRIPTION,GROUP_S
    TATE,PARENT_GROUP_ID) values (?,?,?,?,?,?,?)];

       In the LSW_USR_GRP_XREF table
    the group_state will be set to 1 for the duplicate group in
    LDAP. This means that the group is invalid. BPM treats this
    group as if it is non-existent.

Local fix

  • Rename the group with the duplicate name so that there are not
    duplicate groups.
