Error description

  • ODBC Connector using an invalid Column Length value for
    SQLBindParameter.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ODBC Connector sending an invalid precision value to client
    driver. SQLBindParameter method return "Invalid precision
    value". This was happening when the length of a
    Datastage Longvarchar column was undefined.
    

Problem conclusion

  • As of this fix, the ODBC Connector is no longer sending invalid
    precision values when calling SQLBindParameter.
