Error description
QCapture admin thread sleeps while admin messages remain unprocessed on the adminq.
Local fix
Problem summary
There is a bug in the admin thread where the thread will sleep if there is no work to do, and will wake up at the next monitor interval. After handling the insert of the monitor stats, the thread will process 1 message from the admin queue, before going back to sleep. . However, this logic is incorrect, and will cause the thread to sleep even when there are outstanding messages on the admin queue. The correct logic is to continue to process messages without sleeping until the queue is empty.
Problem conclusion
The problem has been fixed, and will be available in DB2 LUW V97 FP8.
