APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This iFix corrects multiple scenarios that could lead to a
  server request not completing a Global Transaction. Transactions
  are then left in an invalid state.
  When this issue is experienced by a thread performing MQ
  processing, the dispatcher or the worker thread is unable to
  continue processing incoming messages.
  A restart is required to resolve the problem.
  
  The following APAR is included with this Fix:
  JR43306 Ensure the global transaction is rolled back even when
  TransactionCache.transactionNotify fails.

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce users running v7.0.  In particular, this
  issue has been reported by users who have integrated WebSphere
  Commerce with WebSphere MQ.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Certain scenarios may leave requests unable to finalize the
  transaction
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  WebSphere Commerce is unable to process incoming messages. Web
  channel requests can be affected as well.

• The transaction management logic has been updated to ensure the
  transaction is either committed or rolled back.
