Error description

  • The BPM profiles are set up with secured messaging buses while
the different JMS resources associated with the bus default to
using secured and unsecured inbound communication chains. The
additional unsecured configuration causes unnecessary overhead
as unnecessary lookups are performed and fail. Also, when a
Deployment Environment was extended with additional nodes, the
messaging endpoints did not reflect the new cluster members and
these entries must be added manually which can be problematic
and tedious. Finally when using Process Designer in a ND
environment, the trust store was not correct for the cell and
end-users of Process Designer would be prompted to accept SSL
    certificates.

    Includes internal defects 68046, 68048, and 68050

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this fix along with JR42441 or *
    * JR42442 to solve issue with trust store *
    * file with incorrect password not *
    * specified or the connection factory *
    *                  endpoints specified incorrectly.            *
    ****************************************************************
The trust store that was included with Process Designer was
only from the node scope and the password for the store was
note compatible for the property values specified in Process
Designer. Also the inbound transport chain was not updated
when members were added to a cluster.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix provides the base support for JR42441 to fix the issue
with only the node scoped trust store file included with
Process Designer. It also provies the base support for
JR42442 to fix the issue with adding additional ports of new
cluster members to the inbound transport chain of connection
    factory resources.
