Error description

  • BPM Advanced 7.5.1 ( z Linux)
    DB2 Z/OS 10

    Following the upgrade of BPM Advanced 7.5.0.1 to BPM Advanced
    7.5.1 the
    following error is thrown when a user logs in to ProcessAdmin
    and goes to the "Process Inspector" tab.

    bad SQL grammar [select count (distinct instanceId) from
    (select i.bpd_instance_id as instanceId from lsw_task t inner
    join lsw_bpd_instance i on t.bpd_instance_id =
    i.bpd_instance_id left join
    lsw_bpd_status_codes istatus on i.execution_status =
    istatus.status_id
    where ( ( i.last_modified_datetime > to_date ('2011-12-06
    17:00:00',
    'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') AND istatus.name = 'Completed' ) )
    union all
    select i.bpd_instance_id as instanceId from lsw_task t inner
    join
    lsw_bpd_instance i on t.bpd_instance_id = i.bpd_instance_id left
    join
    lsw_bpd_status_codes istatus on i.execution_status =
    istatus.status_id
    where ( ( i.last_modified_datetime > to_date ('2011-12-06
    17:00:00',
    'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') AND istatus.name = 'Terminated' ) ) )
    ];

    com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException:
    DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-104, SQLSTATE=42601, SQLERRMC=<EMPTY>;

    SQLCODE=-
    104, SQLSTATE=42601, SQLERRMC=<EMPTY>;CORRELATION NAME,
    DRIVER=3.62.56

    Upon tracing the jdbc/TeamWorksDB data source (attached:
    pstrace_xads_5) it can be seen that the sql statement that is
    being
    executed does not have a CORRELATION NAME.

    When the statement is executed outside of BPM and a CORRELATION
    NAME is
    added to the end of the statement (as acti) it executes without
    issue.

    When a similiar trace is executed in a DIFFERENT 7.5.1
    environment
    (that has a distributed DB2 instead of DB2 Z/OS) the issue does
    not
    occur and the statement that is executed has "as acti" on the
    end.

    It seems that the SQL statement is being incorrectly built for
    DB2 ZOS.
    We have also tried this in a DB2 Z/OS 9 environment, and the
    issue
    occurs there also.
