JR41441: TW_AUTHORS GROUP USERS INTERMITTENTLY FAILING TO LOG IN PROCESS DESIGNER WITH ERROR "DOES NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED ROLE"

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Users that are part of tw_author group and not part of the WAS
    admin role cannot login via ProcessDesigner. User may be first
    time can login but further attempts fails till they restart the
    cluster member. Client added the user to WAS admin role as a
    work around.
    
    Note: Client can login into process designer after restarting
          the cluster member.
    Note: Client can login into process designer if the user added
          to WAS admin role.
    
    From process center logs we see the following error.

    This issue was reported through JIRA WLE-7847. As per developer
    update required code changes to add runAs block whenever
    WBIConfigServiceHelper being invoked.
