Error description

  • API PLWgregToJulian() outputs incremented DAY field in the DATE
    values if called multiple times.

This behavior is affecting the Plugins like STP stage, DB2 API.
    etc.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM: Issue with DB2 Stage with a date hard-coded when it is
loaded to the table, a different date is actually loaded.

DETAILS: The date in the source file is 1000-01-01, but gets
loaded as 1000-01-06 in DB2 using Plugins like DB2API, STP etc.

Problem conclusion

  • RESOLUTION: The cause was due to Double coversion of the Julian
date. So, we are now avoiding the re-conversion of the Julian
    DATE values.

Made changes in DSCAPI to resolve the issue.

Temporary fix
