APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • BW Load job with parameter as logon password fails with the
follwoing error:

JOB..BW_Load: RfcErrorInfo.key: RfcErrorInfo.message  (group
104)

Looking in the rfc trace file you can see:
Error in program 'uvsh': ======> Name or password is incorrect
(repeat logon)

When the password is hard coded the job is successful.

Local fix

  • Do not use parameter for the password.  Hard code the password.

Problem summary

  • BW Load job with parameter as password fails

Problem conclusion

  • Code change for supporting parameters in SAP logon details
(username, password, client and language).
Fix available in version 4.3.3 GA (unavailable in earlier
versions).
