Error description

• Communications Server for Windows, Version 6.1.3

  TN3270 SSL connections can not be established even though the
  SSL configuration is correct.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• If CSWIN is install with "All users" option instead of "classic"
  option, the registry keys in
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\Communications
  Server\CurrentVersion\Skit are set properly.
  
  Although SSL can be configured, CSWIN TN3270 Server is unable to
  access the SSL certificate key database, brcause the registry
  key is indicating the wrong location.
  

Problem conclusion

• Install code has been modified to update the registry key
  appropriately for each install type.
  
  Casee 1 : If the installation option is Classic private then the
  values should be:
  KeyringFilename = %SNAROOT%\PRIVATE\ibmcs.kdb
  StashFilename = %SNAROOT%\PRIVATE\ibmcs.sth
  (with %SNAROOT% replaced by the contents of the variable)
  
  Case 2 : If the Installation option is ALL USER then the value
  should be:
  KeyringFilename =  %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\
  IBM\Communications Server\PRIVATE\ibmcs.kdb
  
  StashFilename = %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\IBM\
  Communications Server\PRIVATE\ibmcs.sth
  
  (with %ALLUSERSPROFILE% replaced by the contents of the
  variable)
