Error description
Enhancement request for a keepalive functionality to prevent firewall from disconnecting sessions. We are currently using version 7.5 of DataStage. Our company has a firewall between the desktops and the Solaris server on which the DataStage server resides. The firewall disconnects after an hour of inactivity.
Local fix
Users should close Designer if they expect long periods of inactivity.
