JR31629: DRS STAGE ABORTING WHEN SELECTING FROM MULTIPLE TABLES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer migrated from 7.5.2 to 8.0.  Jobs with DRS stage that
  access multiple tables in the select statement are aborting.
  

Local fix

• This fix is included in 8.0.1 fix pack 3
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Customer using oracle OCI stage on IS801 and querying on more
  than 1 target table
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  8.0 on Solaris - Migrating our DataStage Server jobs from
  DS7.5.2 to DS8.0.1 and are getting abnormal termination error
  message with regard to connecting to oracle using odbc stage.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  install patch_JR31629_server_solaris.tar
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• similiar issue with eCase 130672 for OCI stage: Table Size will
  not be sufficient as we can have more than one table as target
  table
