Error description

• The Nutcracker errors are a symptom of a heavily loaded
  system. These and other errors may occur if a system is pushed
  to its limits, but the recommendations here will allow users to
  run more concurrent jobs without errors, than would be possible
  on an unmodified system.  All production systems on Windows
  should follow the recommendations.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Windows Users of DataStage 8.1  who are running large parallel
  jobs may see job failures and " Nutcracker" errors in the
  Windows Application Event logs.
  This will occur on very  heavily loaded systems where CPU usage
  is above 90%  and where memory usage is so high that the
  system is using virtual memory during job execution.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Code changes in the Parallel engine which improve high load
  performance on Windows are  included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.
  Users should install the Fixpack.
  
  The code changes will not be effective unless the user makes
  certain Windows registry and other configuration changes which
  are described in the Tech Note:

  This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.

Problem conclusion

• The issue that was introduced by another development change was
  fixed on 81 on all the OS platforms.
