IZ99387: NEXTINT METHOD IN THE SCANNER CLASS CAN NOT RETURN CORRECT VALUEIF IT EXCEED 1024

Error description

  • Method Scanner.next() returns string under the limit of 1024
    characters when using the regular expression ?\Z? or ?\z? when
    it supposed to match till the end of the feed (no length
    restriction).
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when trying to read something with Scanner
    and the return value exceed 1024
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR10
    .
    It is a limitation of the Scanner implementation, the code has
    been updated to avoid this limitation.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110428 or later
