    always irrespective of data present in stream or not.

Problem summary

  • The Java application interacts with devices attached to serial
    port using JavaComm.When available() method is exercised to know
    the number of bytes available in stream to read,this method
    returned zero always.It is caused due to data not present in
    cache.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR12 FP5
    .
    The JavaComm code is updated to take care of this particular
    scenario.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110308 or later
