  • Error Message: 1)keys DEL, BACKSPACE, RETURN not honoured for
German locale(PMR 01049)
2)Diacritical marks like tilde, accent acute (aigu) , accent
grave and accent circonflex(e) are not working when environment
variable LANG=de_DE is set.

  • The problem is caused by incorrect handling of keys on the
German locale.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR12 FP5
.
JVM has been updated to handle the key events properly on German
locale and also to display the diacritic characters properly in
German Locale.
.
To obtain the fix:
Install build 20110431 or later
