APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a REAL type namelist item does not have enough
corresponding values in the input and the name of the next item
starts with 'i' or 'n', the runtime might fail to read the rest
of items in the namelist group correctly.

Local fix

  • The user needs to add enough values in the input to satisfy
the affected REAL type namelist item, or, change the name of the
next item to the one starting with characters other than 'i' or
    'n'.

Problem summary

  • When a REAL type namelist item does not have enough
corresponding values in the input and the name of the next item
starts with 'i' or 'n', the runtime fails to read the rest
items in the namelist group correctly.
