Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem was caused by an incompatible change to a control
    structure inside the AIX core file format.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR9
    5.0.0 SR12
    1.4.2 SR13 FP7 (AIX PowerPC 64-bit)
    .
    The JVM has been updated to work around the AIX core file format
    change, and correctly read the native stacks.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20100616 or later
